Mandy heads up all consumer lifestyle content at Stylus, a remit that comprises consumer attitudes, food, beverage, travel, hospitality and technology. She’s a prolific writer, editor, content strategist and innovation expert, all rolled into one.
She started at Stylus in 2012, and has been working in brand consultancy, editorial and trend forecasting for over 17 years. Previously, she was executive editor at retail innovation consultancy GDR Creative Intelligence, and has been a thought leader at Canvas8. During her career, she’s worked with global cross-industry brands on everything from competitor analysis and ‘creative matchmaking’ to roundtable workshops. These include Harrods, McDonald’s, Tesco, Waitrose, Starwood Hotels, Hilton Hotels, Westfield Group, Diageo, Moët & Chandon, Kraft and Nestlé.
She's contributed to Contagious, Canvas8, WGSN, the Guardian, BBC Food and Asos – among many others. Alongside this, she’s a seasoned public speaker, and has presented and moderated at events such as LE Miami, The World Retail Congress, Boutique Hotel Summit, Food Matters Live, and London Health Show.
Mandy is passionate about helping brands achieve their commercial ambitions while also making a positive impact – particularly when it comes to connecting the dots between wellness, sustainability and mainstream trend adoption. Towards this, she is happiest scouring local and international supermarkets, looking for new product and ingredient iterations that represent meaningful shifts in consumer mindsets and behaviours.
