Helping consumers achieve spicy and complex dishes easily at home was the driving force behind many brands at this year’s show. Meanwhile, innovative start-ups have achieved layered and multifaceted flavour profiles using slow and gentle extraction methods.
Chilled teas and modern alcohol alternatives took centre stage, with brands reimagining traditional formats using botanicals, hops and honey. Innovations included whole-fruit liqueurs, white-tea-based sodas, and mead reimagined for a modern audience.
Brands foregrounded ethical farming partnerships, biodiversity-aligned ingredient sourcing and community engagement, showcasing their social and environmental values via packaging, brand messaging and flavour-driven product development.
