Attracting 67,000 buyers from 148 countries to its line‑up of 2,300 exhibiting brands, Maison & Objet (January 15–19) underscored its continued influence in the home‑interiors landscape. Guided by the theme ‘Past Reveals Future’, collections leaned into permanence and sophistication – qualities not always felt across its halls in years past. Across furniture, lighting, homeware and kids’ lines, a sensory, enduring aesthetic took centre stage.
Furniture, lighting and accessories at the fair embraced architectural minimalism, raw natural materials, industrial metallics and highly tactile craftsmanship. Monumental forms, exaggerated textures, playful interactive objects and optical illusions shaped a bold yet sensory aesthetic, while multifunctionality and refined outdoor innovations underscored a practical, design‑forward approach.
