Consumers are seeking electronics that augment the health, safety and security of their homes without the need for excessive appliances and screens. At this year’s CES (January 9-12), brands leveraged artificial intelligence and Internet-of-Things connectivity to discreetly supercharge and integrate existing appliances in the home.
Devices are being designed to minimise the appearance of tech in the home and relieve consumers from the fatigue of constantly interacting with screens. Televisions are being redesigned to be less of a focal point, while hybrid electronics reduce the reliance on multiple screens for notifications and interactions.
