  • 1X’s Neo: In October 2025, US-based 1X announced Neo, a humanoid household robot coming in early 2026. Neo can perform chores, like loading the dishwasher or vacuuming floors, and is powered by 1X’s Redwood AI, which can learn from real-world experience.

For tasks that Neo isn’t yet trained to execute independently (like unloading the dishwasher), users can schedule remote guidance from a 1X employee who will perform the chore by using a virtual reality headset. This helps train Neo and teach it new skills. Founder Bernt Børnich assures Neo owners that they’ll maintain control over what employees providing remote support can and can’t see when assisting: users can assign no-go zones and face blurring.

  • Figure AI’s Figure 03: Announced in October 2025, the Figure 03 from California-based Figure AI is designed to handle everyday household tasks – like opening doors, folding laundry and loading washing machines. It uses Figure AI’s vision-language-action AI system Helix to determine which action to take based on real-time video, image and language input. The goal of the Figure 03 is to become a general-purpose robot – meaning it can perform any human task and learn directly from observing people.

  • Weave Robotics’ Isaac: American company Weave Robotics’ household robot Isaac will start shipping in late 2025. Isaac specialises in challenging household tasks (for robots), like laundry folding, but also performs other chores, such as tidying up (picking up objects and putting them in a designated spot). Similar to 1X’s Neo, Isaac can be taken over by a remote human operator if it gets stuck or can’t complete a task.
