Ella McDougall

Ella’s role involves tracking leading developments in the furniture and electronics industries. She uses her visual eye to create Stylus’s aesthetically led calendar reports, as well as working on our Design Directions, which provide inspiration for brands to create products two years ahead.

Prior to starting at Stylus in 2017, Ella worked with Australian design publications Habitus Living, The Local Project and Belle, and was a contributing producer for radio programme Blueprint for Living with the Australian Broadcasting Corporation.

Ella is passionate about regenerative design, and channels this in the Product Design Sustainability Round-Up series, which deciphers the must-know advancements across interiors, automotive, packaging and consumer electronics.
